ContEMPORANEO 2025
Contemporáneo 2025 invites participants to explore Portuguese azulejo as a visual and cultural language, reinterpreting it through contemporary practices. The residency focuses on the dialogue between tradition and innovation, encouraging artists to question historical narratives and forge new connections between memory, material, and identity.
+ - SON
An immersive sound residency inviting eight musicians to explore co-creation in a rural setting for seven days. Participants will be invited to join temporary ensembles and co-create by bringing their styles and artistic concerns into dialogue.
Welcome Violence
In a world increasingly shaped by cognitive manipulation, it is essential to foster reflections and counter-practices that question and reveal inherently meta-violent behaviors, often overlooked. Welcome Violence is a reflection/action program that offers a space to explore the everyday, the assimilated, the aesthetic, the stereotyped, the automatic, the viral, the picturesque, the beautiful, the raw, or the banal through the lens of symbolic violence.
Creative Ethology
This residency invites participants to ethically observe and reflect on the behaviors of the animals we interact with daily. Creative Ethology focuses on the exchange of experiences and on questioning both human and animal "habits" and "prejudices," exploring how these interactions transform both sides.
